Patrick Brompton Hall sleeps up to 17 in total – in 8/9 bedrooms if every bed is used. The house is ideal for family gatherings and any group holiday needs and an indoor pool accessed from right inside the house makes it a great venue for you to choose even in the winter.
The room configuration is as follows. There is one single-bed room, three twin-bed rooms, two rooms with three single beds, one room with a kingsize bed sleeping one or two persons and one bedroom has a super-king bed. The house has 4 bathrooms between the first and second floors (2 on each) and a pool shower room used by house guests (accessed from inside the house very close to the accommodation) and a downstairs cloakroom/toilet.
If you are hiring Patrick Brompton Hall for a yogic gathering, the studio accommodates up to a maximum of 14 students for any mat practice. The yoga studio is a dedicated room – empty and serene, for any group activity. Perhaps you wish to bring a meditation or healing group, a life-coaching group. Please enquire for more details. The house can sleep 17 – there is the possibility of an en-suite cottage in our adjacent stable block that can be hired in addition to the house capacity of 17 guests making a grand total of 19. We are not suitable for hot yoga or rocket yoga styles of practice. The studio is a calm serene space.

Our dining room has a long table that seats 17/19 with ease. Meals are eaten in the dining room when you are gathered together. The kitchen table accommodates six people. The dining room creates a gracious space where your group will enjoy memorable meal gatherings. Winter holidays are wonderful; come home after a day’s frosty walk in the dales and warm up beside a real log fire whilst you relax on comfy sofas. There are real fires available to light in 4 downstairs rooms if you wish to be excellent at fire lighting! The house gardens and grounds come to life in summer. You can walk, sunbathe, play croquet on the lawn, play tennis on the outdoor hard court and star gaze by night. A fire bowl can be hired at a supplementary cost.
It is necessary to have car use when staying at Patrick Brompton Hall. The closest village shop is 2 miles and the closest small town with a Co-Op, small Morrisons, Post Office, speciality butcher and greengrocer, unusual quirky shops and cafes (including a well-known brand, Costa,) is Bedale.
For larger supermarkets, visit Tesco, Aldi and Lidl, a cluster of retail outlets at Catterick Garrison, 7 miles from Patrick Brompton Hall. Also included in this cluster of shops are a cinema, a large Boots, Next, Cotswold Outdoors, Iceland, Sports Direct, Costa, Domino Pizza, McDonalds and KFC. We are the ideal holiday home for anyone who wants to be immersed in the foothills of Yorkshire Dales, lower Wensleydale, surrounded by beauty, but not too far away from creature comforts.
