We can accommodate 15 guests including the teacher or facilitator for yoga retreats. We use one cottage beside the main house plus the rooms within the house. The most comfortable number in our yoga studio is 12/14 for spacious practice. We ask all facilitators/teachers to visit us before hiring us for a retreat (where possible) to see the space. All residential retreat weekend hire is based on a minimum group size of twelve people with the maximum being 15 in total including the facilitator.

We offer a range of hire options. If you want to bring a larger teacher-training group we create the capacity for this but do not offer larger capacities than 15 including whoever is teaching, on weekend retreat dates.

We welcome retreat leaders from a variety of creative areas, event organizers, and leaders of small corporate wellbeing experiences. You can hire us for a residential catered retreat where we provide all vegetarian or vegan food.

Ashram experiences/residential teacher training

We are experienced in hosting teacher training groups and we operate on a different capacity for teacher training if a larger group size is needed. If your request is to host a special Ashram or residential teacher-training retreat we will of course consider this option if it works for both yourselves and for us here at Patrick Brompton Hall. We have hosted many before and love these residential stays.

We are situated in the foothills of the Yorkshire Dales, in lower Wensleydale surrounded by the very best of the brilliant landscapes Yorkshire provides. Our location has ease of accessibility; Northallerton on the East Coast mainline is only a 20-minute drive and is served by direct trains from London, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen. We are an easy fifteen-minute drive to and from Junction 51 on the A1 (M).

Run from 4pm Friday to 2pm Sunday.

Retreats are catered – Six meals, includes two breakfasts, two lunches and two dinners.

Meals and refreshments are taken in our historic house dining room.

Practices take place in a dedicated studio within the Hall. Sound system with iphone cable in one studio

Our minimum number is 12, maximum is 15 including the facilitator.

Deposits are based on 30% for 12 people or the 30% amount of any larger group size.

Rooms are: shared occupancy with shared house bathroom occupancy. Our cottage is twin-bed/or double and has en-suite.

Hot Tub by negotiation

Indoor heated swimming pool within the hall.

Fire Pit on request.

In-house chef - we fully cater for your retreat (vegetarian or vegan)

Hard Tennis court

Croquet Lawn.

Private parkland, walking, Victorian walled meditation garden.

The house is staffed.

Faciliators can arrive one hour beforehand to set up.
