We can accommodate 17 guests in 8 bedrooms in a configuration of single, double and king beds in the house. For those who require some additional private guest space there may be two cottages (subject to availability and a price supplement) raising your total guest group to 19/21 depending on the use of double beds.

We are the perfect venue for your family holiday, celebrating a special occasion any stay where you require group accommodation. Besides family holidays and group getaways, we can be rented as a yoga or creative retreat location.

Patrick Brompton Hall can welcome groups that include these activities; writing, literary, cycling, walking, history tours exploring the local historic area, film location tours. Why not email us with your ideas.

Yoga can be added to any family or retreat weekend stay – we have a yoga teacher – (subject to availability)who can be hired to add in morning yoga classes for your group There is no yoga prop hire when you hire the yoga teacher we provide for your classes. As our teacher is a trained gong sound therapist your class will include the gong. Again, let us know your requirements when you are considering renting Patrick Brompton Hall.

If you are a yoga teacher or a retreat facilitator you may be interested in using our yoga room as a yoga room for retreat activities. The studio itself is part of the house hire. Mats and yoga props are available to hire at a supplementary cost.

We are situated in the foothills of the Yorkshire Dales, in lower Wensleydale surrounded by the very best of the brilliant landscapes Yorkshire provides. Our location has ease of accessibility; for any guests arriving by train Northallerton station is on the East Coast mainline and is only a 20-minute drive. This station is served by direct trains from London, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester, Doncaster, Peterborough and York. By car, we are an easy fifteen-minute drive to and from Junction 51 on the A1 (M).

Weekends and week stays available .

Our arrival days are Mondays and Fridays from 4pm. On your departure day please all vacate by 10am

Self-catering kitchen, aga, electric oven, dishwasher, two sinks, cooking preparation table, downstairs cloak room with washing machine.

3 Bedrooms are twin-bedded rooms. 2 bedrooms sleep 3 in single beds. One bedroom contains one single bed. One bedroom contains a king-bed double. One bedroom has a super-king bed.

Two self-catering en-suite cottages may be available (subject to available) at a supplement to the house hire cost.

Deposits are taken for every stay (see below for good housekeeping bond). The Booking deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay is taken at time of booking. Your balance due 8 weeks before arrival date.

Indoor heated swimming pool within the hall. This is available between the months of March and end of October, and at other times by arrangement/discretion of the owners.

Fire brazier included. Book a walk to our private stone circle depending on season and weather - incurs a supplement.

A good house keeping deposit is taken by BACS transfer 7 days before your arrival date- amount £1000.00. This is returned within 2 weeks of your departure date assuming all went well with your stay.

By special arrangement subject to availability - for a price supplementl hire a cook, arrange a yoga class or gong sound bath, book a winter month hosting package (fire lighting, fire-pit lighting, walk to our private sacred stone circle site.

We include use of the studio/games room and, the use of 14 yoga mats, as complimentary for any yoga retreat. Supplementary hire costs: bolsters, blankets, straps, cork and foam blocks.

POA – up to 15 adults (studio capacity for any mat practice is for 14 students.

Hire period runs from 0930 - 1630 (one hour set up time allowed)

Overtime charged pro rata thereafter

Please note: Lunch may be provided by separate negotion if we have a cook available. (ie: not included in the hire price we quote you. )

Lawns and terraces available

Day hire gives you access to our dining room, one/two soft sitting ‘spaces’, one studio and tea and coffee facilities all day.
